SamanTree Medical, committed to improving cancer surgery outcomes, is building-out its senior leadership team by welcoming Dr Oleg Svanidze as Chief Medical Officer and Mr Cédric Trabucatti as Vice President Sales & Marketing.

Dr. Oleg Svanidze has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry with a background in clinical cardiac surgery and a successful track record in all aspects of clinical/medical affairs, R&D, and business development. He joined SamanTree Medical from Newronika, where he was serving as a Chief Medical Officer. Prior to Newronika, Dr. Svanidze held executive positions at several medical device companies, including Xeltis, Allergan Medical, Arbor Surgical Technologies, 3F Therapeutics (now Medtronic), Computer Motion (now Intuitive Surgical), and HeartPort (now Edwards Lifesciences). Oleg is a co-author of many scientific publications and holds several patents in the fields of minimally invasive heart valves and medical robotics.

Mr. Cédric Trabucatti has over 15 years as Sales Director EMEA for medical device companies. During his most recent experience at Varian, Angiodynamics and Mauna Kea technologies , he led the sales of innovative equipment in oncology. His career path has given him the ability to launch products with high added value and strengthen his ability to develop new business opportunities. Cedric holds a master degree in Science and also in management.
